Testimonies of His Grace

I had been living in darkness for years — addiction, broken relationships, no hope. A friend invited me to Achievers Gospel Chapel one Sunday and I sat at the back, arms crossed, ready to leave early. But when Pastor Samuels began to preach, I felt something I had never felt before. I gave my life to Christ that day and have not looked back since. My family is restored, I am free from addiction, and I have found my purpose in God.

I grew up in a Muslim home and never thought I would ever become a Christian. But through the outreach programme of Achievers Gospel Chapel and the love shown to me by the members, I encountered Jesus in a real way. I gave my life to Christ six months ago and the transformation in my life has been undeniable. My family is slowly seeing the change and I believe God is working in their hearts too.

I was diagnosed with a tumour and given only months to live. My family was devastated. But the intercessory team at Achievers Gospel Chapel stood with us in prayer, fasting, and faith. I went back to the hospital after six weeks of intensive prayer and the doctors could not find the tumour. They ran multiple tests, all confirming — it was gone! God completely healed me and I am standing here today as a living testimony of His miracle power.

My daughter was born with a serious eye condition. Doctors said surgery would be needed and even then, her sight would be severely limited. During the Medical Outreach programme, she received prayer from the church's intercessory team. When we returned to the specialist two weeks later, he was shocked — her condition had significantly improved and surgery was no longer necessary. We give all the glory to God!

I had been unemployed for three years despite sending countless applications. I was about to give up on my dreams. The Bible Study series on "Walking in Your God-Given Destiny" renewed my faith and I began to pray specifically and boldly. Within two weeks of completing the series, I received three job offers. I accepted the one God confirmed in my heart. I am now thriving in a career that aligns perfectly with my calling and gifts.

My business was failing and I was deeply in debt. I came to church desperate and broken. Through the teaching on financial stewardship and the prayers of the Men's Department, God began to turn things around. Within six months, my business not only recovered but exceeded its previous revenue by 40%. I tithe faithfully now and God has been faithful in return. I am a witness that God is still in the miracle business!

My marriage was on the brink of divorce. We had stopped communicating and were living like strangers in the same house. Through the marriage counselling ministry at Achievers Gospel Chapel and the Word of God, my husband and I found our way back to each other. We recently celebrated our 12th anniversary and our marriage is stronger and more beautiful than ever. God restores what the enemy tries to destroy!
